What Needed to Be Solved
Local service providers and customers lacked a secure platform to verify business legitimacy, handle upfront booking payments to prevent no-shows, schedule flexible hourly/fixed services, and automate cancellation refund policies.
How I Engineered the Solution
Engineered using React Native and TypeScript for the customer and business provider mobile apps connected to a Java REST backend architecture. Integrated document upload verification flows, upfront Stripe & PayPal payment authorization, calendar appointment scheduling algorithms, and automated cancellation/refund processing.
