What Needed to Be Solved
Enterprise event venues required a high-speed handheld scanning app for gate attendants to validate attendee tickets with immediate visual pass/fail confirmation, clear denial reason messages, and camera controls in low-light environments.
How I Engineered the Solution
Developed with React Native and Vision Camera buffer streaming. Features instant Ticket Accepted / Ticket Denied screen overlays displaying clear rejection reasons (Expired, Already Scanned, Invalid Tier), combined with camera flashlight toggles, auto-reset scanning timers, and gate configuration settings.
